Sabah PN begins planning strategy for next state elections

KOTA KINABALU: Perikatan Nasional (PN) Sabah has started planning its strategy and searching for target seats to be contested in the upcoming state elections (PRN).

To this end, the Sabah PN Liaison Committee, comprising BERSATU, PAS, GERAKAN and SAPP, held its first meeting at the Bersatu office , here on Monday night.

The meeting was chaired by its chairman Datuk Dr Ronald Kiandee, who is also Bersatu Sabah Chief.

Ronald’s latest social media post says the first meeting agreed to appoint the following officers:  

Secretary: Hj Kadir OKK Damsal (BERSATU)
Treasurer: Ustaz Azman Jupari (PAS)
Information Chief : Ng Kiat Hsiung (GERAKAN)
Deputy Secretary: Dato’ Shuaib Mutalip (SAPP)
Election Director : Mikail Sungiau Abdullah (BERSATU)

Appointments of Divisional Liaison Committee level officers will be made in the near future.

With the restructuring of PN Sabah, the coalition hopes to strengthen PN’s position in the state.
